Welcome to the Chair of Didactics of Biology

We train future teachers of biology at grammar schools, secondary schools, primary and middle schools and special schools. In the combination of subject-specific science and educational science, we research the learning and teaching of biological content and impart the latest didactic findings as well as tried and tested methods of study and teaching. Close cooperation between students and teachers at every level of education is just as important to us as nationwide and international cooperation in research.
